Since 2000, owner and sushi chef Tony Manabe has run Amimoto from a quiet corner of Towles Plaza, with no street sign out front and food that people are glad they went looking for. We're the only spot around doing both Thai and Japanese under one roof, from fresh sushi and ramen to pad thai and curry. Start with the dishes we're known for, the ones our regulars order again and again.
Behind the counter, our sushi chefs slice fish to order while the kitchen fires curries, noodles, and hot entrées right beside them. That's what lets one table share a rainbow roll, a bowl of ramen, and a plate of basil chicken all at once. Our full menu runs long on purpose, so there's always a reason to come back and try something new.
Weekday lunch, sorted. Our Lunch Bento Box starts at $18 and comes loaded: two chicken gyoza, a house salad in our ginger dressing, six pieces of California roll, and your choice of sushi, pad thai, fried rice, or chicken teriyaki. It's a little bit of everything we do best, boxed up neat. Available Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 to 2:15, for pickup or delivery.

ServSafe certified and BDPR licensed, everything is made to order, never sitting around ahead of time, so your sushi arrives fresh and your hot dishes actually hot. You'll find us inside Towles Plaza at 2705 S Tamiami Trail, right next to Sherwin-Williams, with no street sign to give us away.
